About

I’m Reynold Wu, a founder and AI product leader focused on building technology that returns time, protects attention and expands human agency.

That focus became personal after a life-changing car accident in 2021. From the emergency room, I wrote ideas about how software could reduce what drivers need to read, decide and touch. The experience left me with a lasting conviction: assistance should reduce cognitive load, especially when distraction has real consequences.

At Google, I helped lead Gemini-powered Gmail experiences designed to take repetitive work off people’s plates. Earlier at Rokid, I worked on AI and AR products for live translation, visual understanding, navigation and accessibility. Today, I’m building UserApproved.ai to help commerce teams move from scattered data and guesswork to an always-on growth system.

My work follows three principles: return time by removing repetition, protect attention by making assistance calm and constrained, and expand agency by making information and environments easier to understand. Technology should recede so life can come forward.
